This course is aimed at those who feel they are at the theory level needed to complete the practical or those who need a recap.

As one of our most popular courses it is ideal for the experienced skipper who wishes to formalise a qualification or for those who need to brush up before taking the practical course

Spread over 6 days it includes the 4 day Day Skipper practical course but with two classroom days covering all aspects covered during the practical.

This course gives you the chance to take charge on short passages under instruction.

You will concentrate on pilotage boat handling seamanship and navigation. This course can also help you get the best from your modern electronic aids such as GPS and radar, which are now virtually standard equipment on modern motor cruisers. It aims to teach pilotage, navigation, seamanship and boat handling up to the standard required to skipper a motor cruiser safely by day in familiar waters. There is also an introduction to night cruising.
